Now, let me walk you through the full process of building an elimination-mystery puzzle book inside Jikan Nazo.

Launch Jikan Nazo, then choose Creator from the top navigation. This takes you into the main book-building workspace, where you can configure your project, customize its settings, and manage the complete creation process.

Click Start another book to begin a fresh project. The workflow is organized into 1 Design, 2 Setup, and 3 Review, so you can move through each stage in a clear sequence from the first settings to the completed book.

Open the Puzzle drop-down menu and select the type of item readers will need to identify throughout the mystery.
The available choices include Find the Number, Find the Date, Find the Phone Number, Find the Timestamp, Find the Time, Find the Coordinate, Find the Lottery Ticket, Find the Hand, Find the Coded Name, Find the Color, Find the IP Address, Find the Address, Find the Symbol, Find the Price, Find the License Plate, Find the Reading, Find the Barcode, Find the ISBN, Find the Dominoes, and Find the Postcode.

Open the Difficulty menu and select the challenge level you want for your puzzles. In this example, Standard is selected, which the interface indicates uses roughly sixteen to eighteen clues.
Turn on Large print edition to format the entire book in 18-point text with a single-column layout. Be aware that using this option can significantly increase the final page count.

Use the Type size controls to customize the typography across different parts of your book. You can set individual font sizes for Entries, Clues, Chapter label, and Chapter title.
In this configuration, Entries are set to 12 pt, Clues to 14 pt, the Chapter label to 14 pt, and the Chapter title to 20 pt.

After changing the puzzle type, difficulty, print mode, or typography, click Regenerate the Book. Jikan Nazo rebuilds the project using your updated selections and refreshes the page preview to reflect those changes.

Scroll through the page thumbnails along the bottom of the workspace to check your generated book. Open the front matter, clue sections, register pages, or any individual page you want to inspect more closely.
For quicker access, use the page number and page-type selector above the main canvas to jump directly to a specific page or section.

Select the page you want to update, then choose Text or Image from the editing toolbar to edit that page directly. The same toolbar also lets you change the font, text size, alignment, and other formatting settings.
Keep the correct page selected on the canvas while making edits so each adjustment is applied to the intended section.

Click Save once your edits are complete to store the latest version of the project. Confirm that the interface shows the changes as successfully saved before continuing.
When the book is ready, click Export All… to start the final export process. You can also use Batch… and Pre-flight beside the primary export control for bulk production options and final checks before publishing.
