UnfoldVideo Step-By-Step Software Walkthrough
Here’s a hands-on walkthrough of the complete UnfoldVideo process, from building your first funnel and adding videos to controlling release schedules, styling the campaign, setting CTAs, and publishing everything live.
[+] Create Funnel
Start by opening Create Funnel from the left sidebar. Choose From Scratch for full control, select Generate with AI when you want the system to create the funnel structure and copy, or click Browse Templates to start from a ready-made layout.
For this manual setup, choose Start Building under the From Scratch option.
[+] Add Videos
Head to the Videos tab and click Add Video. Pick URL (YouTube, Vimeo, MP4) or Embed Code, then insert the source for the video you want to use.
Next, add the heading and subheading that viewers will see above the video. Turn on Lock this video when access should depend on completing the lead-capture step, then press Save Video.
[+] Set Schedule
Switch to the General tab and enter a clear name for your funnel. Keep Enable 1-Click Signup switched on when you want special email links to subscribe leads automatically.
Select Fixed when each video should unlock on a specific calendar date, or choose Evergreen when every viewer should begin the sequence on their own timeline. Define the delay between releases, then enable the countdown option if you want locked videos to display exactly how long remains before they open.

Open Access & Monetization and select Free Funnel when visitors should enter through the normal lead-capture flow. Choose Paid Funnel when access to protected videos should require subscriber login after payment.
Continue through the remaining General settings to add footer details and define how the campaign should be published.

Open Integrations from the left-hand menu and connect the email marketing or automation service you already use. Available integrations include Grawt, AWeber, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite, Drip, SendFox, plus other compatible platforms.
Use the Payment Services or Webhooks tabs when you need to process payments or pass custom funnel events into another automation workflow.

Go back into your funnel, open Videos, and click the pencil icon beside the video you want to edit. Update the heading and subheading, then use the Content editor to insert supporting text, links, lists, or more detailed information underneath the video.
Use this area to reinforce what viewers should know before moving to the next step or clicking through to your offer.

Scroll further down the video settings and switch on Enable CTA. Enter your main CTA text along with any optional supporting copy, then select Show popup when the button should open the lead form or Go to link when viewers should be redirected to another page.
You can also upload a custom thumbnail, choose between landscape and portrait layouts, and turn on Hide video controls when you do not want viewers skipping ahead.

After choosing Go to link, enter your destination URL inside the Action URL field. Under CTA Button Visibility, select either Always show or Show after watch time.
For a delayed CTA, set the exact minutes and seconds viewers must watch before the button appears, then click Update Video to save your changes.

Open the popup editor and tailor the headline, supporting text, submit-button copy, and thank-you message to fit your campaign.
Enable the legal consent checkbox, name field, or double opt-in only when your funnel requires them. Keep an eye on the live popup preview while editing so you can immediately see how the final form will look.

Open Appearance to control the visual presentation of your funnel. Adjust Color Palette, Layout & Spacing, Typography System, and Advance Styling until the design matches the look and feel of your offer.
Move between the Funnel and Popup preview options as you work so you can check both parts of the campaign before publishing.

Use the desktop, tablet, and mobile icons to preview how your funnel will display across different screen sizes. Click through the numbered video steps as well to check how the sequence appears as each piece of content becomes available.
After confirming the videos, design, popup, CTA timing, and overall campaign flow, switch the funnel status from Draft to Active.

Open My Funnels to view your published campaigns and track key performance data such as views, subscribers, completions, and conversions.
Click Links beside the campaign you want to promote. Copy either the main funnel URL or an individual video link, then distribute it through email, paid ads, social media, direct messages, or any other traffic source you use.

Open the AI funnel builder and describe the campaign you want UnfoldVideo to create. Include details about the target audience, topic, number of videos, preferred visual style, CTA goal, and any other instructions that should shape the final campaign.
Click Generate Funnel with AI, and the platform will prepare the funnel structure, written copy, design direction, and recommended video sequence from your prompt.

Once generation is complete, open the new funnel inside the editor and inspect the full video sequence. Review the headline, supporting copy, placement, visuals, and CTA settings for every video.
Make any changes needed to match your own branding, product details, wording, or promotional angle before activating the campaign.

Go to Downloads and choose the installer for your operating system. Select Download for Apple silicon for a compatible Mac or Download for Windows when working on a Windows PC.
Install the application, then sign in with your UnfoldVideo account to access the desktop AI video creation tools.

Inside the desktop video creator, explain the offer you want to promote, who the audience is, the problem you want to address, the direction of the story, and the action viewers should take at the end.
You can also start with one of the included example ideas and replace the sample information with your own campaign details. Once everything accurately describes the sequence you want, click Review setup.
